Important: All residents are expected to read, understand, and agree to the following policies and guidelines before entering the Cornerstone Recovery sober living program. These guidelines exist to maintain a safe, structured, and substance-free environment for everyone.
Intake Requirements
All prospective residents must pass a drug screening prior to admission.
Residents must have a minimum of 30 days of continuous sobriety before being considered for admission.
Residents must demonstrate a commitment to sobriety and willingness to follow program rules.
A completed application must be submitted and approved before move-in.
Substance & Testing Policies
Absolutely no drugs or alcohol are permitted on the premises or in the possession of any resident at any time.
Random drug and alcohol testing will be conducted. Refusal to test is treated as a positive result.
Any positive test result will result in immediate review and may lead to removal from the program.
Prescription medications must be disclosed during intake and managed according to program protocols.
Behavioral Conduct
Violence, threats of violence, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal.
Verbal abuse, harassment, or disrespectful behavior toward staff or fellow residents is prohibited.
Theft or intentional destruction of property will result in removal and may be reported to law enforcement.
Residents must treat the home, furnishings, and common areas with respect.
Employment & Financial Responsibilities
Residents are expected to obtain and maintain employment or be actively seeking employment.
Rent and program fees must be paid on time according to the agreed schedule.
Failure to meet financial obligations may result in a review of the resident's continued participation.
Housing & Daily Living
Curfews are set according to the resident's current phase and must be followed.
Overnight passes must be requested and approved in advance by the housing manager.
All residents are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their personal spaces and contributing to the upkeep of shared areas.
Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Guests are only permitted during designated hours and must be approved by the housing manager. No overnight guests.
Recovery & Accountability
Residents are expected to attend recovery meetings as outlined by their current phase.
Participation in house meetings and group activities is mandatory.
Residents are encouraged to obtain and work with a sponsor or mentor.
Regular check-ins with the housing manager are required as outlined by the resident's phase.
Safety & Emergency
All residents must be familiar with emergency procedures and exits.
If a resident witnesses a medical emergency or overdose, they must call 911 immediately and notify staff.
Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited on the premises.
Compliance & Enforcement
Residents who disagree with a decision may submit a written grievance to the housing manager for review.
Violations of these guidelines will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Consequences may include warnings, loss of privileges, or removal from the program.
Cornerstone Recovery Foundation reserves the right to modify these guidelines as needed. Residents will be notified of any changes.
By entering the Cornerstone Recovery sober living program, all residents acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these policies and guidelines.
